Welcome to the official website of the Command Day Secondary School Ikeja Old Students Association Class 89. In 1984, over 200 rough stones were all put together in a condominium called CDSS at Ikeja Military Cantonment. The motive, to brush and sharpen them to becoming a fine material. Some did not complete the process, some were added to the process. Five years plus, heating and drilling, we became a solid base for onward transportation to the world.
The mission of the Command Day Secondary School Ikeja Old Students’ Association (CDSSIOSA) is to foster a lifelong relationship between our alma mater and its old students. The purpose of this platform is to reconnect old friends, strengthen our network, preserve our legacy, and continue to impact future generations of students.
The CDSSIOSA Class of 1989 engages its members through continuous interaction via online and physical meetings, reunions, and welfare support initiatives that strengthen brotherhood and unity. We actively initiate and support infrastructure and educational development projects within Command Day Secondary School, Ikeja, funded through the generous financial contributions of our members, as a practical way of giving back to our alma mater. We also invest in mentoring current students by sharing professional experiences, career guidance, and core values that inspire future leaders, while extending our impact beyond the school through community service and humanitarian initiatives that reflect our commitment to discipline, excellence, service, and social responsibility.
Through the collective support, generosity, and dedication of our members, we initiate and execute development projects that enhance learning, improve infrastructure, and support the overall growth of our alma mater and the wider community.
The strength of the CDSSIOSA Class of 1989 lies in the active participation, commitment, and unity of its members.
Our commitment to CDSS Ikeja is ongoing. As the needs of the school evolve, so will our projects. We remain dedicated to building a sustainable future for the school and preserving the legacy of the Class of 1989.
